You meet them here first! And if you ever wondered what kind of brother Pepa was talking to in the intro of “Shoop,” well it’s probably this fella here…

Ok, foreal. Stacee’s a sepia reddish brown brother standing at 6’4 created in mind as edgy rough with best guy friend potential. (That’s probably a run on sentence). 😄 But what I’m trying to say is at first glance he’s that dude. Perhaps intimidating at first due to his tall stature, but nonetheless with his cool on, and his “I’m here for you” demeanor, it’s hard NOT to love Stacee.

…even with his cheating ass, lying ass ways!

I originally started writing Stacee with rapper The Game in mind. Over time he has morphed into his own look, but I still use Game as a reference.

Here’s an unedited excerpt of what my other protagonist, Shaunie Hudson, thinks during their first meeting:

“He was fine fine. And not a Renni kind of fine, but a let’s smoke and fuck if that’s cool kind of fine. He was big. Like tall and broad chested with long legs. His skin was like my caramel macchiato after added creamer. Smooth with no blemishes, but I just knew there had to be some tats under that work shirt.

…There was no way Renni would go for this shit.”

I’ve changed his complexion since…and who’s Renni and what shit won’t he go for? 🤔
